Editorial policy
This page explains how our articles are produced and the rules every article has to meet.
How articles are written
Articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools and then checked against the rules on this page before they are published. We use AI to help with structure and drafting, not as a source of facts. Steps, limits and prices come from the official documentation and pricing pages of the products involved, and each article links to those pages.
Our rules
- Sources for facts. Every price, limit and step should be traceable to an official vendor page or another reputable primary source that we link to.
- Dated prices. Prices change. Every article with prices says the date we checked them, and we show prices in the currency the vendor publishes them in.
- No invented experience. We don't claim to have tested something we haven't, and we don't make up anecdotes, quotes, testimonials or case studies.
- No unsourced statistics. If we can't link to where a number comes from, we leave it out.
- No paid placement. Nobody can pay to be included, ranked or recommended.
- On topic. We only publish articles that fit what this site is about.
Updates and corrections
We review articles when vendors change their products or prices. If you spot a mistake or something out of date, please tell us through the contact page. We correct errors and update the date on the article when we do.
Advertising and affiliate links
The site shows adverts served by Google AdSense. We don't choose individual adverts, and they don't affect what we write. Our articles don't currently contain affiliate links. If we ever add one, it will be labelled, and it will never change what we say about a product. See the disclaimer.
